Alternative proteins education made simple

Bridging the Education
Gap in Protein Diversification

Empowering curious minds with accessible, evidence-based resources on alternative proteins.

The Protein Diversification Academy

Our association is dedicated to bridging the education gap in the area of protein diversification to enable a sustainable food system of the future.
Growing population, food security threats, planetary boundaries, animal welfare, zoonotic risks, sociocultural transformations… the current methods of food production are facing critical challenges.
We need to rethink how we produce and consume food.
The Protein Diversification approach tries to address these pressures by tapping into novel sources of protein, or alternative proteins. To make it happen, we need skilled changemakers.
Are you ready to take up the challenge?

At the core of the PDA is the Protein Diversification Learning Pathway (PDLP), a structured series of courses aligned with the EIT Food Education Competency Framework. These courses cater to different levels of expertise, from foundational to advanced.
